Soul Asylum has announced a new album, Hurry Up And Wait, via Blue Élan Records. Pre-orders are live at the link below. The band had a huge tour booked with Local-H, including SXSW, but that is now remaining dates are likely canceled or postponed until the fall. The current lineup of the band includes founder Dave Pirner– songwriter/vocals/guitar, Michael Bland-drums, Ryan Smith-lead guitar, and Wynston Roye-bass. Pirner also just released his first book, “Loud, Fast, Words”, out now via MNHS Publishing (Minnesota Historical Society). The book is a collection of lyrics and is also available for purchase.
