Faith No More has once again pushed their scheduled summer European shows back from 2021 to the summer of 2022. Korn Announce U.S. Summer Tour with Staind, 68, and Fire From The Gods
Korn has booked a special summer 2021 tour with Staind as the special guest on all dates. Tickets go on sale to the general public starting Friday, May 14th at the link below. The tour will see both bands traversing the country this summer and will give fans the chance to see two of the biggest forces in rock perform on the same stage each night [full itinerary below]. 68, and Fire From The Gods will also appear. Produced by Live Nation, the coast-to-coast 28-city outing will kick off August 5th in West Palm Beach, FL and make stops in Long Island, Detroit, Irvine, Phoenix, Austin and more, before wrapping up with a performance at Dallas’ Dos Equis Pavilion on September 21st. Furthermore, both bands will perform at Louisville, Kentucky’s Louder Than Life Festival on September 23rd.

Tuska Festival 2021 Canceled Due to The Pandemic, Set to Return in 2022
Another festival bites the dust due to the pandemic as Tuska Festival has been forced to cancel their 2021 event, and plan to rebook for 2022. Some rock and metal festivals worldwide are trying their best to bounce back from the last year, but in the case of Tuska, they didn’t feel like the conditions worked for hosting the fest. Tuska 2021 was to have been headlined by Korn, Deftones, Gojira, Devin Townsend, Baroness, insomnia,, Beast In Black, Eluveitie, Jinjer, Finntroll, High on Fire, Perturbator, Oranssi Pazuzu, Vltimas, Gaahls Wyrd, Korpiklaani, and many more. Hellfest 2021 Is Canceled
The organizers of Hellfest have been officially canceled after the French government culture ministry said summer events would be allowed to go ahead — but with a limit of 5,000 people, all of whom must remain seated, to meet COVID-19 restrictions.This is a bad sign for the upcoming European festival circuit this year as other countries are likely to follow the same protocols. The Union of Contemporary Music (SMA), which represents festivals, concert venues and producers, said late Thursday that the figure had been agreed at a meeting with culture minister Roselyne Bachelot. Hellfest, which drew 180,000 people in 2019, generally features a lineup which is 90 percent made up of international acts and 20 percent of spectators coming from abroad. Hellfest 2021 was to have featured Deftones, Faith No More, System of A Down, Judas Priest, Puscifer, Korn, Volbeat, Opeth, Dropkick Murphys, Northlane, Deep Purple, Wardruna, Rival Sons, Devin Townsend, Suicidal Tendencies, and more.

Yesterday, Alice In Chains was awarded the prestigious Founders Award from Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop). They were celebrated for their 30-year career by a cadre of their friends and peers playing AIC covers from the Rock and Metal world such as Metallica, Korn, Mastodon, Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, and Fishbone, as well as members of Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Jane’s Addiction, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, and others. Alice In Chains also performed their first show since the end of their tour cycle for 2018’s Rainier Fog album in 2019. The event was This year’s celebration was broadcast virtually on Amazon Music’s Twitch Channel watched by more than 275,000 people and raised over $600,000 USD. Hopefully returning for 2021, Helsinki’s Tuska Festival is one of the greatest musical events in the world. Gojira has been added to the bill, joining other headliners Korn, Gojira, Deftones, Devin Townsend, Bodom After Midnight, Insomnium, Mokoma, Beast In Black, Symphony X, Eluveitie, Jinjer, Lost Society, Belzebubs, High On Fire, Perturbator, Oranssi Pazuzu, Vltimas, Gaahls Wyrd and more to be announced. Gojira returns, along with Korn and Deftones as headliners from the previously canceled 2020 event.
