Behemoth has announced they will release limited edition EP O Pentagram Ignis (Metal Blade) on their upcoming tour. The EP will be available for purchase at venues on the band’s “Ecclesia Diabolica Baltica” tour. The 10-inch vinyl will be made available on clear and white vinyl, with each pressing limited to just 333 copies and each copy signed by the members of the band. Following a report from Blabbermouth.net and Patch.com, a local man died after suffering a seizure after moshing at a Slipknot concert this week. According to Patch.com, a 62-year-old man died after falling to the ground during this past Sunday’s (August 11) Knotfest Roadshow concert at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois. Richard Valadez was pronounced dead at 11:34 p.m. The cause of his death is not yet known, and an autopsy is pending, a spokeswoman for the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said. Witnesses told Patch.com that Valadez joined in some of the mosh pits that formed in the lawn section and was knocked to the ground at least once. About an hour into headliner’s set, he fell out of the pit and into the grass. As people were trying to help him up, he suffered a seizure and witnesses called for help. Two men performed CPR on him before staff and emergency personnel showed up to assist Valadez. Ten years ago a Slipknot fan died after suffering a heart attack at a Slipknot show in their home state of Iowa. Further information can be read below and at the link. The band has yet to comment on this. This a terrible tragedy that Mr. Valdez lost his life and our hearts are with his family and friends at this time. Although we are all out to have a great time at concerts, please remain vigilant at all times. In a career full of huge achievements, Slipknot toppled another one last night. They headlined the vaunted Iowa State Fair in their home town of Des Moines Iowa, and it was a banger. The fair is no stranger to metal after Metallica headlined their in the 1990s, but it’s definitely not par for the course. The band played pretty much the same setlist they have during the Knotfest Roadshow Tour so far but definitely included a few more recent songs, including ‘Unsainted ‘from We Are Not Your Kind. Slipknot kicked off their epic Knotfest Roadshow last weekend in California and all reports are that the show is the biggest spectacle the band has ever presented. In addition to sick sets from Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth, Slipknot, performed new songs, stunned the crowd with sights and sounds that exploded the senses, the traveling Slipknot Museum, a chance to try their new No. 9 Whiskey, and more!
