Judas Priest Announces Leg 2 Of Highly Successful “Invincible Shield Tour”

Heavy metal titans Judas Priest have announced leg two of their Invincible Shield Tour with special guest Sabaton. The all-time greats will take over new markets in North America this fall with an additional 23 performances. All shows will feature music from their highly acclaimed album Invincible Shield (album review here, leg one tour review here). Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off on September 13 at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC and makes stops in Milwaukee, WI; Omaha, NE; Spokane, WA; Portland, OR; Los Angeles, CA; Phoenix, AZ and more before wrapping up with three shows in Texas on October 22, 24 and 26. CONCERT REVIEW: Judas Priest – Sabaton Live at MVP Arena Albany

Albany, New York may not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of live music and specifically, Heavy Metal. If you take a look at the history of the MVP Arena which was opened in 1990 as the Knickerbocker Arena, you’ll find a gem of a venue in the New York capital. It opened with a concert by Frank Sinatra and has also played host to The Grateful Dead, Phish, The Rolling Stones, and even Metallica on multiple occasions.  Most recently it was visited by a Metal God in the form of Rob Halford with Judas Priest. Continue reading →

While the philosophy of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” might work for some bands, UK metal gods Judas Priest are clearly not counted among them. Rarely repeating themselves from record to record, Priest have always preferred creativity over repetition, unafraid to take risks even when some level of criticism inevitably follows.

Judas Priest Announces Their New Album Live On Stage at Power Trip Live, “Invincible Shield” to Arrive in 2024

Judas Priest will release their highly-anticipated new album, Invincible Shield on March 8, 2024 via Sony Music. The album is the follow-up to the loved and acclaimed Firepower album (also Sony). Pre-orders for the new album are live at the link below! The announcement first came before the band hit the stage at Power Trip Live festival with album artwork reveal and an announcement, following their stage intro music, Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs.” Rob Halford also announced the album during their set.
