Ghost Cult caught up with Tony Piccoli of Imminent Sonic Destruction about what’s in a name, the origin of the band, Progressive Rock and Metal, their rehearsal regimen, and working on material for their next album.
Imminent Sonic Destruction has entered the studio to record their second full length album Triumphia with producer Nick Morris (As They Sleep, Walls Of Jericho, Black Dahlia Murder), and is a concept album clocking in at just over 65 minutes. Keyboardist Pete Hopersberger started a new blog called Amusings hosted by Ytsejam.com to update the process in the recording studio, which can be viewed here.

Imminent Sonic Destruction released their debut Recurring Themes in 2012. The album was produced by Roy Z (Halford, Bruce Dickinson), and features nine original tracks that showcase the band’s vocal harmonies soaring over original progressive-metal riffing, melodic compositions and the rhythms of ex-Tiles drummer, Pat DeLeon.
