According to Diario Extra, Guns N Roses March 18 concert at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa Ayma in San Jose, Costa Rica is among the “massive events and activities” that have been canceled amid concerns about the coronavirus outbreak. On Monday, Costa Rican president Carlos Alvarado said at a press conference that mass gathering events in the country are being suspended for at least two weeks and until further notice. These include concerts, topes (horse parades) and regional festivals. Costa Rica has confirmed nine cases of coronavirus. Thirty-four people are suspected of having coronavirus, according to the Health Ministry’s latest figures, released Sunday night. Guns N Roses Books Summer North American Tour Dates
Fresh off their performance in Miami this weekend with Snoop Dogg before SuperBowl 54, Guns N Roses has announced nineteen additional tour dates if their Not In This Lifetime tour. Confirmed to kick off in the New York/New Jersey area at Met Life Stadium on July 18th and in Boston on July 21st at the legendary Fenway Park and end in Missoula, MT on August 24th. GNR will return to many cities they first played on the first leg of their comeback tour in 2016, and there are gaps in the schedule so perhaps more dates will get added. Guns N Roses Adds Second London Concert for 2020 Due To Overwhelming Demand
Due to overwhelming demand, Guns N Roses has had to add a second show in London next May. The new London date at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is scheduled for May 30 — one day after the previously announced concert at the same venue. A statement about the U.K. shows reads: “The event marks the first live music concert to be staged at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since the venue opened in April this year and the two nights will be the only dates that the band will be performing their enormous and beloved catalogue of hits in the U.K.” Tickets are on sale now through Live Nation. According to a research report by Forbes magazine, Metallica and Guns N Roses are among the highest-paid entertainers in the world. Published on Friday (December 6), the outlet revealed Metallica earned $68.5 million this year, landing the No. 10 spot on the Forbes list of Highest-Earning Musicians. Guns N’ Roses came in at No. 25, with 2019 earnings of $44 million.To determine its rankings, Forbes considers income from touring, music and outside business ventures with the help of Pollstar, Nielsen Music and interviews with industry insiders, including many of the stars themselves. Forbes’s list measures pretax earnings and does not deduct fees for agents, managers or lawyers. Guns N Roses are continuing their Not In The Lifetime Tour this month! The band just pulled out a lost hit for the first time since 1993 during last night’s (Wednesday, October 23) concert at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. “Dead Horse” originally appeared on GN’R’s Use Your Illusion I album in 1991 and was last played at the final show of the “Use Your Illusion” tour in Argentina 26 years ago.
