Gibson Gives, the non-profit division Gibson, has partnered with Music Forward to present the LGBTQ+ Emerging Artist Awards for 2024. The goal of the awards is to help break down barriers of access in the music industry, allowing artists to have thriving careers and promote a more inclusive music industry. Gibson has announced its second annual Gibson Gives Sister Rosetta Tharpe music scholarship awards. Administered by the Arkansas Art Academy, this time it has been awarded to music student Luis Melchor.
