Anthrax To Host Private For All Kings Album Release Event

Anthrax will see their highly anticipated new album For All Kings release on February 26th (Megaforce/Nuclear Blast). To celebrate the band and Monster Energy are hosting an exclusive listening party at Architekt Studios for an album release show in New Jersey for 100 select fans on February 25th. The event includes the chance to hear the album in full first, before it releases; pick up your own copy of the album, meet the band, enjoy a special food and drink experience created just for the band by chef Eric Levine, and watch the band in a private performance. Audio: Anthrax Premieres New Single Breathing Lightning, On BBC Radio 1

Anthrax premiered their new single on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter last night. The world première of the track ‘Breathing Lighting’ comes from For All Kings, releasing on February 26th from Nuclear Blast Records. You can heart the track from BBC Radio 1 on the widget below at about the 5.30 mark.

 

The artwork For All Kings was created by artist and frequent Anthrax collaborator Alex Ross. Charlie Benante comments:

 

“The cover art for this record is again done by Alex Ross, who is probably one of the greatest artists living. And he did our previous covers.”

“My idea for this one was to show this hall and these huge statues of these kings — who, of course, are us — and trying to tie in the last album cover with these creatures who are drawn into this room with our ANTHRAX ‘A.’ This one, you’ll see those creatures in this hall kind of trying to reach up at these kings. We tried to tie in the last two album covers with this album cover. And when you see it, it’s beautiful. It’s grandiose. It just has this beautiful look to it. And, yeah, it’s gonna be a great album cover.”

Lamb of God Anthrax tour 2016

Lamb of God have announced a string of tour dates this winter in the USA. Direct support will come from Anthrax, with openers TBA. The tour starts January 15th in Pittsburgh, PA and hits 19 cities total, ending in Los Angeles, CA on February 12th. General on sale for tickets begins this Friday, November 13th at 10:00am local time. American Express Card Members can also purchase tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, November 10th at 2:00 P.M. local time through Thursday, November 12th at 10:00 P.M. local time, in select markets.

Lamb of God Anthrax Deafheaven and Power Trip Admat

Lamb of God who previously announced a string of tour dates this winter in the USA with Anthrax, have added Deafheaven and Power Trip as support acts. The tour starts January 15th in Pittsburgh, PA and hits 21 cities in all, ending in Los Angeles, CA on February 12th. Two more dates have been added: Nashville on 1/20 and Sayreville NJ on 1/26. Tickets for all dates are on sale now, except the two new dates which sees tickets available to the public on 11/25.
