Nightborn Share Their Single “Hammer of the Herertic” – New EP Coming Soon
Swedish thrashers, Nightborn, have shared their brand new song, “Hammer of the Heretic.” It serves as the title track of their upcoming EP, due for digital release on November 19th. The record was produced by Remi LeGresley and features Simon McKay (Agonist) on drums and Hubert Wiecek (ex-Decapitated, Dieth, Banisher) on the bass. Nightborn will release one song from the EP each week in the run up to its arrival. For now, check out “Hammer of the Heretic” below.

Metalcore pioneers, As I Lay Dying, are gearing up for the release of their upcoming eighth full-length studio album, Through Storms Ahead. Due out November 15, via Napalm Records, it includes the tracks “Burden,” “The Cave We Fear To Enter,” and “We Are The Dead” featuring guest vocalists Alex Terrible (Slaughter to Prevail) and Tom Barber (Chelsea Grin, Darko). This unique performance will make its World Premiere outside of Finland in January 2025, on board The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise, with two separate presentations of the work occurring whilst on board. Decapitated drummer James Stewart bolsters Adon’s self-titled album (Neuropa Records). He adds more titanic depth to the stomp of the band’s larger-than-life grooves. The organizers of the 70000Tons Of Metal festival have announced the public sales for their 2025 edition will start Thursday, July 11th 2024 at 12PM EDT (9AM PDT, 18:00 CEST/17:00 GMT+1). The heavy metal cruise, featuring Sepultura, Emperor, Unleash The Archers, Decapitated, Hammerfall, Tankard, and more, sets sail from Miami, FL to Ocho Rios, Jamaica and back, taking place from January 30th to February 3rd, 2025.
