Metallica Shares Livestream of Mexico City in 2017 for Final Episode of #MetallicaMondays


 

Metallica finished their #metallicamondays series  with a livestream concert from Mexico City on the Worldwired Worldtour in 2017. They shared 23 concerts in all from 18 different tours over their entire career. The band also released custom merch commemorating the event. The band used the weekly stream to raise 1000s of dolllars for frontline medical workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Machine Head Cancels All Tours For The Foreseeable Future 


In a move that was to be expected, Machine Head, fresh off of several sold-old tours for the “Burn My Eyes 25th Anniversary” tour, the band has officially canceled all touring indefinitely. Robb Flynn has said publicly several times recently in interviews and his podcast that he doesn’t think the music industry will recover from coronavirus shutdown conditions for several years.
