Chicago metallers Kastasyde is streaming the title track from their upcoming album Gnosis, out June 2, 2015. Gnosis was mixed and tracked by Chris Wisco at Belle City Sound in Racine, Wisconsin. Drum tracking was done by Pete Grossman at Bricktop Recording in Chicago. The album features a guest guitar solo by Black Dahlia Murder guitarist Ryan Knight as well as lap steel guitar contributions by Justin Spring. The band features Featuring vocalist Jarrett Roberts, guitarists Eric Kornfeind and Jerome Marshall, bassist Dustin Roberts, and drummer Garry Naples (November Doom).

Chicago instrumental dark rockers The Kahless Clone, featuring Novembers Doom guitarist Vito Marchese, is streaming “Leave This Place With Me”, offAn Endless Loop EP, out March 17, 2015, here.
The band was started by Marchese as an outlet for some of the instrumental songs he had been writing. Marchese secured the talents of Zach Libbe, Garry Naples, Andy Bunk, and Ben Johnson to help him record An Endless Loop. Recording, mixing, and mastering was done at Belle City Sound in Racine, WI by Chris Wisco, who was able to properly capture the mood and atmosphere of the songs. The band is currently booking live dates/tours to help promote it.
