Un Has Announced Their Immediate Break-Up, New Projects In The Works


Seattle Funeral Doom and Sludge Metal band Un has announced their immediate disbandment. Monte from the band has posted a message to the band Instagram account, laying out the events of the last few months, and future paths for the band members. After two demos, two full-lengths and a split release with Coltsblood, Un was one of the best bands in the underground metal scene coming out of the Pacific Northwest. The bands last full-length was the acclaimed 2018 release Sentiment, via Translation Loss, and their last concert ever was in December in 2023 at the Rain City Doom Fest, opening for Matt Pike solo (High On Fire, Sleep).Continue reading


Palm Reader Announce Split After 13 Years, Book Mini Farewell Tour


Top-tier UK multi-hyphenate-genre band Palm Reader has announced they are breaking up after 13 years. Citing the band having much different priorities today from when the band was founded, they are choosing to split now rather than merely “going on hiatus.” The band has also booked a short tour of the UK to tie things off. Anathema Announces Their Indefinite Hiatus


Anathema has announced they are disbanding effective immediately. The band had booked and canceled several tours of what was to be a huge cycle for the band and they cited the difficulties during the global pandemic as the reason. They legendary post-Rock band leaves behind a legacy of incredible albums and unforgettable shows. Perhaps we will see them again someday. The band was working on new music for a 2021 release. The Charm The Fury Announces Their Breakup


Dutch band The Charm The Fury have announced that the band is breaking up for now, with no further activity planned. The band who rose to prominence several years ago and played on every major festival in 2017, including Download UK, Graspop, Pinkpop and various support slots including Korn, Papa Roach, and Marilyn Manson.
