Iron Maiden has shared a new single and incredible animated video/mini film for the “The Writing On The Wall!” The presumed title track of their forth coming album was composed by Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith and is a lengthy mid-tempo rocker with a great solo section! The song is also streaming at all DSPs. The video was conceived from a story by Dickinson and animated by BlinkInk. More news on the new album soon, but in the mean time – let’s rock!!
UK Heavy Rock band Black Tree Vultures has just shared a brand new animated lyric video, their first ever, for their new single “The Unforeseen”. The track comes from their forthcoming new EP III, due for release in early 2021. The EP was recorded in Spain with producer Will Maya (The Answer) in Los Rosales Studios. Watch it now!
Metal legends Gojira have shared a new standalone single titled “Another World”. Produced by the band’s own Joseph “Joe” Duplantier and mixed by Andy Wallace, the new track is available today on all streaming platforms and is joined by an animated official music video directed by Maxime Tiberhgien and Sylvain Favre, which is streaming now on Gojira’s YouTube channel. The release marks the group’s first original music since the release of their Grammy-nominated LP Magma in 2016.
Joburg Alternative electro-rock power trio Go The Rodeo have just dropped their debut Afrikaans track, ‘Dowe Ore (Deaf Ears)’ and a killer animated video to go along with it! Highlighting the devastation of rhino poaching and the illegal wild animal trade in South Africa, the disturbing images evoke this struggle harrowing images that provide a thoughtful backdrop to a true anthem of modern South African. You can watch the clip below with or without subtitles. Their debut album Lekker Chilled was released on the 26th of July 2019. They were meant to tour Europe and the UK with Australian rock band Hands Like Houses in June of 2020, but due to the Coronavirus the tour has been cancelled.Continue reading
