Slipknot Announces a New Song “Long May You Die” – Their First Music with Drummer Eloy Casgrande


Slipknot has announced a new song, perhaps a single, “Long May You Die!” The band teased the track on social media posts today, May 15th 2024. The phrase “Long May You Die!” has shown up on social posts recently by the band. No word yet if this is a standalone track or part of a larger release they have been writing and recording, but it will be their first with new drummer Eloy Casagrande! The band has a new samples player, replacing the recently retired Craig Jones, but his identity remains a mystery. In addition to their 25th anniversary debut album tour and Knotfest Iowa, the band is set to release their long lost album later this year, according to M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan! Watch Slipknot Play Their First Gig With Their New Drummer in A Tiny Bar


Slipknot, one of the biggest headlining Metal bands in the world played a tiny bar in Pioneertown, California as the warm-up to their gig at Sick New World Festival this weekend. The band played at Pappy + Harriet’s in Pioneertown, California near Joshua Tree National Park in San Bernardino County. They wore 1999 themed jumpsuits and masks, and the cost of the show was $9, all to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their debut album. Selling out in 10 minutes, all of the proceeds went to charity. The band also played their first show with their new drummer, rumored to be former Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande. Watch Duff McKagan of Guns N Roses Unbox the New Prince “1999” Boxed Set


Guns N Roses bassist Duff McKagan has been commissioned to write the liner notes for the new reissue of Prince’s 1982 all-time great album 1999. due this Friday for Record Store Day Black Friday by Warner Bros. The set comes in three versions: super deluxe (5 CDs or 10 LPs and DVD); deluxe (2 CDs or 4 LPs) and remastered album (1 CD or 2 LPs). The 5xCD/10xLP “super deluxe edition” will feature 35 previously unreleased tracks from Prince’s vault, as well as a DVD containing footage from his 1999 tour stop at the Houston Summit on December 29, 1982. Also included will be photos by Allen Beaulieu, who worked with Prince in the early ’80s, and additional liner notes by longtime Rolling Stone critic David Fricke, the Current radio host Andrea Swensson, and Prince scholar Duane Tudahl. I’m twelve years old and watching MTV at Jennifer Mones’ house. I’m trying my best attempt at humor and charm, but a boy can only do so much while sporting a bootleg Chicago Bulls jersey.
