Flying Blind was tracked live in roughly a week at Studio Barbarosa in Florida with longtime producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette, capturing the band at full tilt across twelve tracks. The title track arrives as the record’s lead single and sets the tone immediately, the kind of anthemic hard rock that SMKC have owned since forming fifteen years ago.

Slash, Myles Kennedy, Brent Fitz, Todd Kerns, and Frank Sidoris round out the lineup that has now delivered five studio albums together, an impressive run by any measure. The accompanying world tour runs from April through July 2027. The Flying Blind World Tour 2027 spans three continents across April through July, opening in South America on April 2 in Santiago and closing July 26 in Romania. North American dates run April 23 through May 22, with the European leg launching June 7 in Munich and hitting the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe through late July.
