On a Sunday night in Cambridge, MA recently fans of hardcore influenced metal descended on The Middle East Nite Club to see veteran bands and frequent touring partners Biohazard and Sworn Enemy. These two bands started out in New York City 25 and 20 years ago respectively, so they were there in the heyday, saw all the ups and downs, major label hype, slugging out on endless tours, seen fads come and go; the works. Biohazard is still touring behind 2012’s underrated Reborn In Defiance (Nuclear Blast in Europe) and are preparing a new album for later this year. Sworn Enemy is still supporting last year’s Living on Borrowed Time (Rock Ridge). Both bands played mostly old-school sets and proved they can still deliver bruising, uncompromising music. Thanks to Meg Loyal who shot this photo set that night!
