Loss Becomes are paying their respects the heavy way. The New York City metallic hardcore crew just dropped a video for their cover of Superjoint‘s “F**k Your Enemy,” and it hits exactly as hard as you’d hope. Watch it below.

Phil Anselmo‘s Superjoint first unleashed “F**k Your Enemy” on their 2002 debut Use Once and Destroy, and it stayed a pit staple for decades. Loss Becomes keeps the song’s bulldozer groove and drags it through their own beatdown-heavy approach, a natural fit for a band built on straight hardcore riffs with a Throwdown-style swing.

Guitarist Brian Tsao formed the band with vocalist Anthony Copozzi of Thracian and bassist Will Gomez of Tiger Flowers. They debuted in 2020 with “Focus,” followed by their self-titled album, which included “Moments,” a song about mental health awareness. Today, the lineup also includes guitarist Anthony Lopardo and drummer Sean Ageman.

Loss Becomes lineup:
Anthony Copozzi, vocals (Thracian)
Brian Tsao, guitar
Anthony Lopardo, guitar
Will Gomez, bass (Tiger Flowers)
Sean Ageman, drums
