The “Eros Anima” video was filmed in Death Valley, Mount Diablo, and Studio MirrorVoid between April and September 2026. Conceived and directed by Samuel Foster and Leila Abdul-Rauf, filmed by Samuel Foster with additional footage by Douglas Lilly, and edited by Samuel Foster, the video features performances by Domi Nigro, Paz Hidalgo, Zaskia Morgan, Kienan Hamilton, Gregory C. Hagan, Samuel Foster, and Leila Abdul-Rauf herself.

Andros Insidium is a mutation of cinematic dark ambient, industrial, and ritual folk, now sharpened into something far darker, more narrative, and intimate. Abdul-Rauf‘s vocal work spans a wider range of styles and characters, drawing listeners into a ceremonial descent through the architecture of shadow. Themes of the feminine divine, patriarchal fragmentation, and revenge fantasy as lived myth run throughout. In its most potent moments, the album suggests that wholeness is not purity or light, but the terrifying act of reclaiming everything that was discarded.

Composed, recorded, and performed by Leila Abdul-Rauf, the record features guest contributions from Samuel Foster (ex-Saros, ex-Weakling), Kienan Hamilton (Cartilage, False Figure), Gregory C. Hagan (ex-Common Eider, King Eider, ex-Thomas Carnacki), and Drew Zercoe (Field of Fear). Mixed and mastered by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studios, whose credits include High on Fire, Autopsy, and Vastum; cover art by Justyna Koziczak; layout by Chimere Noire; photography by Samuel Foster; and calligraphy by Gregory C. Hagan.

For fans of Dead Can Dance, Diamanda Galas, Arcana, Amber Asylum, Jarboe/Swans, and Chelsea Wolfe.
