Heavy Metal Heroes brings together two underground heavy metal forces, separated by an ocean but united by an undying thirst for the real thing. Available on CD and 12″ vinyl, the split EP delivers four brand-new tracks from two bands, each contributing two songs.

From Cajamarca, Peru, Hyena returns after touring worldwide in support of their Dying Victims debut, About Rock and Roll. The two new tracks here carry forward the spirit of that record, raw and bloodthirsty, with a turn-of-the-Eighties style brought to a boil. More anthemic and charismatic than ever, the material also serves as the first strike from their forthcoming second album.

From Tokyo, Risingfall continues their ascent following their 2022 Dying Victims debut, Rise or Fall, and last year’s self-released EP, Dungeon’s Call. After their performance at Germany’s Keep It True Rising Festival, the band has established itself among today’s true torchbearers of heavy metal. Their two new tracks here are a dazzling display of old-metal values filtered through a uniquely Eastern lens.

In support of the release, Hyena and Risingfall will join forces for a co-headlining run of three shows in Tokyo this June.
