Havok Inks Record Deal with BLKIIBLK and Drops New Single “Fifth Generation Warfare”

Colorado thrash metal force Havok have officially aligned with rising heavy music powerhouse label BLKIIBLK. To celebrate the freshly finalized international recording contract, the technical speed quartet unleashed a blistering new single, “Fifth Generation Warfare,” marking the official studio tracking debut of their revamped guitar lineup.

The freshly inked partnership places Havok alongside elite genre peers like Megadeth and Biohazard on the growing roster of BLKIIBLK, a specialized extreme music division launched by Frontiers Label Group under the leadership of veteran industry executive Mike Gitter. The band expressed immense enthusiasm for the business transition, stating that aligning with an aggressive, hungry new label led by a seasoned industry mastermind perfectly positions the group to expand its crushing sonic footprint. Gitter mirrored that pride, labeling frontman David Sanchez a true master of contemporary speed metal who consistently injects fierce technicality into the modern thrash metal movement.

With the release of a fierce new track titled “Fifth Generation Warfare.” The arrangement showcases a diverse array of classic attributes, folding together tight melodic guitar harmonies, raw punk rock attitude, and complex bass movements that intentionally break away from the main guitar patterns. Lyrically, the song navigates highly sophisticated, dark concepts of modern warfare, though the group explicitly injected an undercurrent of optimism into the final resolution. The studio session serves as a milestone for the ensemble, introducing brand-new lead guitarist Brett Rechtfertig to the recorded catalog as he steps into the slot alongside longtime rhythm section veterans Brandon Bruce and Pete Webber (Fear Factory).

The tracking revelation arrives just as the band prepares to embark on a massive global tour spanning multiple continents. The summer campaign launches this week with a pair of intimate headlining club dates starting on June 1st in Omaha, Nebraska. From there, the musicians immediately join forces with an arena-grade touring package featuring metalcore icons Killswitch Engage, groove metal veterans Machine Head, and crossover outfit Iron Reagan for a full month of United States amphitheater appearances. Once the domestic run wraps up at the Hollywood Palladium in late June, the group heads directly into an extensive summer headlining circuit sweeping across Latin America before crossing the Atlantic for a full European autumn tracking itinerary in September.
