Independent metal label M-Theory Audio has announced the signing of Long Island crossover thrash force Extinction A.D. The band kicks off this new chapter with the release of their explosive new single, “Dead Men Running,” now available on all streaming and download platforms.

“The band is excited to be working with M-Theory Audio because we have a very specific outline for the entirety of 2026 and how we want to attack the year. Finding the right group to be in the foxhole with us for this marathon was extremely important,” reveals singer/guitarist Rick Jimenez.

Regarding the new single, Jimenez explains:

“‘Dead Men Running’ is about diving headfirst into what you know is right for you, despite all opposition from the outside world and internal conflict. The journey toward self-actualization is insanely difficult, but there is no greater goal to seek.”

With past releases through Good Fight and Unique Leader Records, Extinction A.D. have consistently fused ‘80s thrash, ‘90s extreme metal, and New York hardcore into a volatile, mosh-ready hybrid. Never shy about addressing divisive social issues, the band continues to channel confrontation into cathartic, high-impact metal.
