The band has a penchant for OSDM riffs, a striking bold artistic vision, and killer lyrics with a focus on religious themes. And tea. Yes, tea! You read that correctly! Originally formed in January of 2017, initially as a clothing retailer that sold tea as an accessory, however the dard lords had other plans. In addition to their new EP and future singles, the band has booked some tour dates for Western Canada this summer to promote the release. The dates can be seen below. Satanic Tea Co are preparing to release a new offering of perfectly blended death metal. The upcoming EP, A Celestial Beating, explores sinister religious and cult themes and is best enjoyed with your favorite cuppa.
Descending into the depths with “Purgatory Precursor”, this dark intro track sets the tone for the ferocious atrocities to be explored. From the thunderous heavy tones of the anguish-filled “Septic Savior” to the sheer brutality of “A Celestial Beating”, Satanic Tea Co unleash all hell and fury. The intense power of “Shit Karma” is driven through heavy groove rhythms and the movement they bring. Telling of nightmarish experiences in a cult-like household, the monstrous music aptly brings to life these horrors. “Dissection of Christ” delivers a gory alternative to a biblical tale in which Jesus’ followers tear him apart in an attempt to find God. Satanic Tea Co was launched in January of 2017, initially as a clothing retailer that sold tea as an accessory, but it soon became clear that the beverage side of the business was where its future lay. In 2022 the death metal band of the same name debuted and caused quite a stir. Musically Satanic Tea Co draw influences from old school death metal like Dying Fetus, Suffocation as well as Myspace era Deathgrind. Since releasing their first single “Blood Drenched Torture Chamber” in May 2022, the band have collaborated with the likes of Cradle Of Filth, Bloodbath, Twin Temple, Cryptopsy, Venom Prison, Ingested, Belzebubs And Imperial Triumphant.
