Leon announced his addition to the lineup via social media: “You may have noticed that during the past week, I’ve joined forces with the mighty Dark Chapel. It feels amazing to return to the stage and hit the road with such a professional, hardworking, and downright fantastic band. We’ve got a phenomenal year lined up with tons of killer announcements and shows, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of such a strong team.”

Dark Chapel blends precise guitar work, sludgy grooves, melodic hooks, bluesy touches, and grunge allure into a sound that balances heavy, ethereal, and passionate elements. Lorina launched the band in 2024 after a career that began at sixteen as the touring guitarist for the late Jani Lane of Warrant, followed by a stint with Lizzy Borden. He joined Black Label Society in 2014, logging thousands of miles alongside Zakk Wylde, appearing on 2021’s Doom Crew Inc., and sharing the cover of Guitar World with the man himself. Lorina also released two instrumental solo albums through Shrapnel Records, Dario Lorina in 2013 and Death Grip Tribulations in 2017.

Dark Chapel’s debut album, Spirit in the Glass, arrived in February 2025 through MNRK Heavy. “Glass Heart” opens with gritty vocals and searing riffs, while “Hollow Smile” tackles internal battles over thrash-inspired rhythms. “Corpse Flower” draws on gothic imagery, “Dead Weight” delivers emotional blues, “All That Remains” pays tribute to a lost friend, and “Bullet in Our Chamber” channels Bukowski’s idea of being consumed by passion. A deluxe vinyl edition followed in October 2025, adding bonus tracks including “Hit of Your Love” and “Echoes of a Stone Heart II.”

Dark Chapel 2026 is:
Dario Lorina (Guitar, Vocals, Piano)
Dylan Dyce (Guitar)
J. Walker (Drums)
Mike Leon (Bass)
