We are thrilled to announce the first major line-up for Download Festival 2025 (DLXXII), featuring three first-time headliners: punk-rock royalty Green Day, the enigmatic and meteoric Sleep Token, and nu-metal legends Korn. Over 90 bands have been confirmed, including Weezer, Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, Jimmy Eat World, Within Temptation, Eagles of Death Metal, The Darkness, Poppy, Loathe, Spiritbox, and many more. The fest takes place 13-15 June, 2025. This exciting news was revealed this evening at a special metal gala launch event in London.
Machine Head Books a Headline Tour ft. In Flames, Lacuna Coil, and Unearth
Bay Area Metal Titans Machine Head announce a Massive North American tour alongside Swedish metal icons In Flames, Italian alt-metallers Lacuna Coil, and American metalcore maestros Unearth. The crushing 5 week jaunt begins in their hometown of Oakland, CA at the legendary Fox Theater, then heads south for a stop at Sick New World Festival, then east, and back across Canada. To coincide with this gargantuan event Machine Head have collaborated on a new song called “These Scars Won’t Define Us” with all four bands on the tour adding vocals for a Wu Tang Clan-level thrash collaboration. The track comes from their upcoming new album (slated for April release TBD), with the new collab track dropping this Friday Nov. 15th at midnight. My Chemical Romance Books Stadium Tour Dates Celebrating The Black Parade with Violent Femmes, 100 Gecs, Wallows, Garbage, Alice Cooper, and More
After performing The Black Parade album in its entirety at the most recent When We Were Young Festival, My Chemical Romance (Gerard Way, Ray Toro, Frank Iero, and Mikey Way) will be celebrating The Black Parade this coming summer. The seminal album was named one of Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” The band will be performing the full album in only 10 cities across North America, produced by Live Nation, with each show featuring a different hand-selected artist as the opening act. Story Of The Year Kick Off European Tour Dates with Yellowcard in The UK
Story Of The Year have just set foot back in the UK as special guests to Yellowcard. The UK tour (which also features This Wild Life) kicks off in Glasgow on Tuesday November 12th, and culminates in a huge show at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on November 17th.
