The upcoming live trek launches on November 2nd at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California. From there, the road trip sweeps across the Southwest, the Pacific Northwest, and western Canada before wrapping up on November 21st at the Agoura Hills, California stop. Modern melodic thrash metal outfit LiveKill will serve as the opening artist on all confirmed package dates.
Both headliners bring brand-new recorded material to the stage for this tour package. Armored Saint arrived with their ninth official studio full-length album, Emotion Factory Reset, which hit shelves last week through long-time label partner Metal Blade Records. Bassist Joey Vera handled tracking and producing duties for the eleven-song release, while veteran studio hand Jay Ruston handled mixing duties. According to the tracking personnel, the album serves as a creative resurrection that honors their roots while pushing the boundaries of modern arrangements. Meanwhile, Metal Church enters the live arena armed with their own crushing new full-length record, Dead To Rights.
Frontman John Bush explicitly emphasized the historical weight of the package. He noted that two classic heavy metal bands from the Eighties, performing alongside fresh recordings, make this an essential live gathering for true metalheads. Metal Church founding guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof echoed those sentiments, stating that sharing the stage with one of the finest heavy music groups in America is an immense honor.
