Mike Patton’s Mondo Cane project performed the first of two shows last night in Italy, backed by a 40 piece orchestra. The group covered much of the Mondo Cane repertoire of Italian Pop love songs and a surprise cover of Mr. Bungle’s “Retrovertigo’ as an encore, from Mr. Bungle’s California album. California just turned twenty-years-old recently and that band will perform six shows next year. Check out the setlist and watch fan-filmed videos from the show.
