Zimbabwe’s one-man Death Metal exports Nuclear Winter has shared a new cover of the 1980s pop classic “Africa” by Toto. This is the follow up to the bands’ recent cover of Haddaway’s “What Is Love?” The song is available as a free download on Bandcamp and you can hear it below. Their new album Stormscapes is out now.

“After listening to the original song again I realised the anthemic chorus and general rhythm of the song could translate well into being made heavier. Doing a heavy cover like this is done just for creative fun…while also aiming not to lose the feel the original song has.”
