Metallica performed on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and I can tell you from firsthand experience, it was powerful. I was one of the lucky members of the studio audience for the momentous show, and as promised by Jimmy Fallon throughout the taping, Metallica was in the building, and their set was going to be loud. The staff even handed out earplugs before they hit the stage, because as you’ll see in the video, the heavy metal icons shook the walls with their new ‘Moth Into Flame’ single!
