Venom Prison have shared their sick new video for their track ‘Immanentize Eschaton’ which you can watch below. The track comes from their début 2016 album, Animus, out now from Prosthetic Records. A deluxe edition of that album is coming soon as well.
Vocalist, Larissa Stupar commented:
“The track and video are about finding yourself and eradicating weakness. The way you imagine your path to finding a better self is not always going to be beautiful, but a darkness you need to embrace before you see the light. So, even if you have to walk through a thousand corpses and suffer to notice the weakness in your mind, you can’t erase that design or path. It is about creating your own heaven on Earth.”
The band will be on the road this spring in the UK supporting Trivium with Code Orange and Power Trip. Prosthetic Records will reissue the definitive, deluxe edition of the Animus. The CD version is completely repackaged in a deluxe, 2 CD digi-pak including a live album of tracks captured on the road which includes live favourite ‘Babylon The Whore’, taken from their debut EP. The live tracks were recorded by Steve Kent on the band’s ‘Sacrificial Summer’ tour in August 2017, and then later mixed and mastered by Tom Dring. The limited, deluxe vinyl is limited to just 500 copies, in purple splatter with the bonus live CD also included. Animus is available to purchase here.
