Two Years Gone: Chester Bennington (1976 – 2017)

Collectively, the world still has a giant heart sized hole in it from the tragic loss of the life and gifts of Chester Charles Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park who committed suicide at age 41, on this day 2017. Said to be despondent over the death of his best friend Chris Cornell from suicide, just a few months earlier, Chester could not escape his own darkness. The voice of his generation, music fans who grew up with LP continue to carry his memory and music daily. LP and Chester’s widow Talinda continue his passion for good works with the One More Light Foundation charity. You can follow LP on social media to track their progress, with strides made across the globe. Join us in tribute to Chester with some of his music. Rest in power.
