Portuguese heavy metal force Toxikull have shared “Dragon Magic,” the third single from their hotly anticipated fourth album, Turbulence, out April 24 via Dying Victims Productions. Stream it now and pre-order below.

Formed in 2016, Portugal’s Toxikull have established themselves as one of the most unrelenting forces in the European heavy metal scene, rooted in the classic Eighties spirit yet delivered with an aggressive contemporary edge. After building their reputation through explosive live shows, the band solidified their status with 2019’s Cursed and Punished and 2024’s critically acclaimed Under the Southern Light. Their momentum continued with the 2025 live album Echoes of the Arena, which entered the Portuguese Top 100 music chart.
Turbulence is Toxikull’s fourth full-length and their most fully realized statement yet. Across ten tracks and thirty-nine minutes, the album blends the raw aggression of speed metal with the melodic grandeur of classic heavy metal, exploring themes of inner struggle and the unconquerable spirit of the metal warrior. From the high-octane opener “Midnight Fire” to the album’s bountiful anthemic choruses, Turbulence proves that Toxikull are not merely paying homage to the past but forging the future of traditional steel, carrying the torch of Judas Priest, WASP, Accept, and Manowar with a distinctly southern European flair.
Production duties were handled by Jamie Gomez Arellano, known for his work with Ghost, Mayhem, Opeth, Behemoth, Angel Witch, and Moonspell, delivering a blade-sharp sound that matches the band’s arena-ready ambitions.
