Southern California alt/metal/hip-hop group, Throwlight, have just dropped their 3rd single, “No Fate,” across digital streaming services. It is the latest track in the lead up to their debut album, Monster, due for release on November 1st. The album features guest appearances from Slug of Atmosphere and Rhymesayers artist Blueprint on the song “Midnight.” Check out the new track below.
“So many people feel trapped and stuck in place. Whether its myself, friends, or family, its a powerless feeling, like being a victim to the hand you’ve been dealt. This song goes out to anyone that feels like their fate has been decided for them, because it hasn’t. There is always time to change, grow, and leave the past behind for a better future. There’s no fate, but what we make.” – Rocom, Throwlight
Following the buzz of their breakout singles, “Back Down” and “Oblivion,” Throwlight continues to push the envelope, blending heavy riffs, explosive beats, and razor-sharp hip-hop influences that are sure to ignite the metal and hardcore scenes. “No Fate” gives listeners a taste of what’s to come from the band’s forthcoming debut album, produced by Paul Miner, widely known for his work with punk and hardcore icons like Death By Stereo, Fear, New Found Glory, and Adolescents.
