The White Buffalo, a.k.a. US singer/songwriter Jake Smith, has signed a global deal with Snakefarm Records – a sub-label of Universal Music Group spotlighting roots, country rock, blues & Americana. The White Buffalo has confirmed new shows for spring 2020, with more to follow and hopefully new music too. He has made many guest appearances and scored music for movies and Television, including a 2015 Emmy nomination for original music on the series Sons of Anarchy on FX.

Oregon-born Smith has had significant placements in TV shows such as ‘The Punisher’ and the hugely influential ‘Sons Of Anarchy’ (for which he received a 2015 Emmy nomination), as well as in a number of video games and movies, one of which, the Peter Jackson produced ‘West Of Memphis’, was nominated for ‘Best Documentary’ by the Writers Guild of America. Indeed, as an artist, Smith holds a Top 10 spot in the ‘TV / Film Syncs Chart’ for 2019, with ‘The Woods’ (featured in ‘The Punisher’) also figuring in the Top 10.
