The Rolling Stones just made a HUGE announcement! The legendary rockers will be releasing their 25th studio album, Blue and Lonesome, on December 2nd via Polydor. This will be their first studio record in over a decade, and they’ve gone back to their roots for this one. As you can tell from the title, the album is being touted as the band’s “return to the blues,” and I can’t wait to hear it. The twelve new songs were written in only three days at British Grove Studios in West London, and as the press release states, “this album is manifest testament to the purity of their love for making music, and the blues is, for the Stones, the fountainhead of everything they do.”
