Shock rock legends GWAR are back to wreak havoc once again with their new Multimedia Release, “The Return of Gor Gor,” due on July 25th, 2025, via Pit Records/Z2 Comics. This multi-format assault on the senses includes brand-new studio recordings, ferocious live performances, and an exclusive 32-page comic detailing the epic return of Gor Gor, GWAR’s long-lost, three-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex. This release is a collaboration between GWAR and Z2 Comics, ensuring fans get the ultimate immersive experience. Kicking off the carnage, GWAR premieres the NSFW video for “Lot Lizard” today. Cypress Hill Team Up with Z2 Comics for “Black Sunday” Graphic Novel

In celebration of their seminal album, Black Sunday, Cypress Hill have joined forces with Z2 Comics, to commemorate the album with a graphic novel. Cypress Hill: Black Sunday, developed with the band, writers Noah Callahan-Bever and Gabriel Alvarez, is a narrative journey through the making of the album. It features the artwork of Ken Knudsten, Sebastian Piriz, Giorgio Pontrelli, Felix Ruiz and Guillermo Sanno. With a new cover by the designer of the original album cover, Jay Papke, and a new interview with Cypress Hill as they look back on the album, it comes out on June 3rd. Find out more below.

Bruce Dickinson Teams Up With Z2 Comics for The Mandrake Project 12 Issue Comics Series

Bruce Dickinson’s The Mandrake Project #1arrives in comic shops and at Z2comics.com on January 17, 2024! The 12-issue limited series is an epic saga of opposing forces battling to use the powers of science and magic to gain control of immortality. Spiritbox Adds Second UK Headline Show, Nominated for Two Juno Awards

Spiritbox has added an additional second headline concert in London, due to overwhelming demand, after their Download Festival performance. Their debut headline UK performance on Monday 13th June last week, the show promptly sold out in under a minute. The band will now perform at the O2 Academy, Islington, on Tuesday 14th June as well. Age restrictions for both shows are 8+, though under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. There will be no pre-sales for the second night and fans will be restricted to purchasing 2 tickets each only. Tickets go on sale at 10am GMT this Friday 4th March at the link below.

Anthrax Shares New Details from Z2 Comics Collab “Among The Living” Graphic Novel

Anthrax will unleash their killer’s first-ever graphic novel on July 6th Worldwide. Created in collaboration with Z2 Comics (Steve Aoki, Andy Black, Blondie, Avatar, BABYMETAL)  “Among The Living”  inspired by the titans of thrash metal’s landmark 1987 album. In an effort to support the comic book specialty market, which had been hardest hit by the COVID-19 health crisis of the past year, Anthrax and Z2 shipped a surprise limited number of copies early that stores could make available for sale this week.
