Riverside, CA rockers Naïve Thieves is streaming their music video for “Sold Short,” off their debut album Vámonos, which was released on April 29, 2014 via Cave & Canary Goods, an Equal Vision Records’ imprint founded by The Dear Hunter’s Casey Crescenzo, here.

“The concept for “Sold Short” was something that seemed to resonate with a lot of people in our generation…that overwhelming feeling of regret when we compare our past ideas of where we would be in the future, and where we actually are,” shares vocalist Cameron Thorne. “The song isn’t meant to just wallow in self-reflection, but inspire motivation to pull yourself up by your boot straps and do the things in life that truly make you happy…which is often easier said than done. The idea behind the video, directed by Storm Santos, was to mirror the chaotic nature of the song without letting the concept diminish it’s meaning.” NaiveThieves-SoldShort-web The album was recorded with Crescenzo in the Greater Los Angeles Area, who served as producer and mixer. Naive Thieves also recently released a music video for “Tragic & Magic”, which can be viewed now here. Naive Thieves has toured and shared stages with the likes of From Indian Lakes, Julian Casablancas + the Voidz, Dum Dum Girls, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, The Dear Hunter, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, O’ Brother and more. Naive Thieves is comprised of Cameron Thorne (vocals, guitar), Levi Audette (lead guitar), Kyle Garcia (bass, backing vocals), and Ian Maloney (drums, backing vocals).
