Slipknot and Stone Sour leader Corey Taylor has announced new ‘CMFTour’ summer 2021 tour dates. The new headline run will kick-off on August 6th at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV and will feature special guests The Cherry Bombs on all dates   Pre-sale tickets are available starting tomorrow, Wednesday June 23rd at 10:00AM PT with all remaining tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday, June 25th at 10:00AM local time. Corey Taylor Shares New Single – “Samantha’s Gone” Unplugged

Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour has shared a new music video for his unplugged version of his recent single – “Samantha’s Gone,” from his recent album CMFT (Roadrunner Records). The new single follows the full band version, and the music video was a celebrity-filled affair with  Tom Sandoval of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, actor Dean Cameron [Summer School, Ski School, Straight Outta Compton], Steel Panther, plus actor Greg Grunberg, Ace Von Johnson, Travis Miguel and Jonah Nimoy.

Corey Taylor Shares Direction for His Upcoming Book

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor told Matt Pinfield of 95.5 KLOS’s “New & Approved” series with an update on his upcoming book, his fifth. His previous four books were all New York Times bestsellers. Taylor told Pinfield:  “I’ve got a concept in mind,” he said (transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET). “It has to do with social media and the age that we live in — the ‘outrage’ age. And it’s starting to really kind of form in my head. I may actually write it soon. Because it’s really kind of out of control out there right now.

Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) Added to Spooky Empire Convention in Florida

Spooky Empire the twice a year horror, alt-culture, tattoo, and rock culture convention has announced Corey Taylor to be one of the celebrity guests of the convention for two days (Friday and Saturday) of exclusive autograph signings. In addition to his bands Slipknot, Stone Sour, his recent solo album CMFT (Roadrunner Records), and his New york Times best-selling books, Corey has appeared in multiple films including “Fear Clinic” with Robert Englund, “Bad Candy” with Zach Galligan and even a cameo in “Sharknado 4”. As part of the release of a Stone Sour concept album, “House of Gold & Bones”, Corey also wrote a four-part comic series published by Dark Horse Comics in 2013. Also added to the con are Richard Dryfuss (Jaws, Close Encounters of the Third Kind), Tom Sizemore (Aliens, Planet Terror, The Seventh Sign), and Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator, The Mandalorian) with many more to come. Spooky Empire will take place April 30-May 2, 2021 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort.

This new space has granted him the freedom to create songs you’d never find on a Slipknot record, for better or for worse. If you follow Taylor’s career exclusively because of Slipknot, CMFT (Roadrunner) might not be worth your time.
