Has it really been eight years since the last Corrosion Of Conformity album? So much has happened since 2018 that it almost seems like a different lifetime. Leaving aside wars, visibly decaying presidents, and a global pandemic, the COC camp has seen the departure of co-founder Mike Dean, the bassist replaced by no less talented Bobby Landgraf (Honkey, Down live, tech for Pantera) in 2024, and, of course, the unfortunate passing of drummer Reed Mullin in 2020.
Corrosion Of Conformity has announced a three-week tour across Europe, including performances at Desertfest London, Desertfest Berlin, and Soulstone Gathering in Krakow. The band shared a video of their jam room with Pepper Kennan and Stanton Moore (Galactic) this week on social media and are getting ready to write and track a new album. The new album will be their first album since 2018’s No Cross No Crown album, and Moore’s first album with the band since 2005’s underrated In The Arms of God.
