As previously reported, cultural icons and huge Metal fans Beavis and Butthead are returning to life with a new series for comedy central. Now Comedy Central has revealed they are returning with a new movie on Paramount+, the new streaming service from B and B’s parent company, and owner of MTV’s IP, Paramount. The show was created by Mike Judge (Daria, King of the hill, Extract, Office Space, Silicon Valley). No other details are available yet. The pair were recently seen in a SuperBowl commercial promoting the streaming service looking to compete with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and others. Beavis and Butthead helped put many Metal bands on the brains of the mainstream consciousness on their original run of their show in the early 1990s, such as Pantera, White Zombie, Morbid Angel, and others.
