Winds In Sails Streaming “Wild Child”

Wind In Sails-revised new song wild child

Newport, RI’s Winds In Sails, the solo project featuring Evan Pharmakis, is streaming “Wild Child”, off their newly released album Morning Light, out now via Equal Vision Records, here.

Morning Light was recorded at Apparition Sound Studios in Thompson, CT with producer Chris Curran. The 11-track album will serve as a follow-up to Brighter Days, an eight-song album released in October 2012 and the more recent Darker Nights EP (October 2013) – a raw, stripped down release touching on the loss of loved ones and betrayal of friendship, while still holding an underlying message of optimism. He elaborates, “No matter how horrible things can get, with a positive mentality there’s nothing we can’t push through. Things will always get better with time to heal.”

Pharmakis also recently announced a short run of CD release shows in the northeast, with support from solo artist Ghost Thrower (Travis Alexander of Therefore I Am). Following the tour, Wind In Sails will next perform on the Radio Revival Tour wth Ryan Cabrera, Secondhand Serenade, Nick Thomas (of The Spill Canvas), and Runaway Saints.
