We are devastated by the news that our friend and photographer Rick Triana passed away, yesterday, July 16th 2024. No further information is available, but friends of Rick’s confirmed his death as posts on social media began appearing online. Rick was a valued member of Ghost Cult’s live coverage team for many years covering essential tours such as Korn, Ghost, Megadeth, Guns N Roses, The Dixie Dregs, Sons of Apollo, FFDP, Anthrax, Machine Head, Richie Kotzen, Zack Wylde and Black Label Society, and festivals like Louder Than Life, and even the Shiprocked cruise. Rick was also an excellent interviewer of bands such as Halestorm, Seether, and The Dead Deads, among others. Born in Chicago, and living in Phoenix for many years, Rick was a leader in the concert photography community when he was active. He was a huge fan of Rock and Metal all of his life, especially Progressive Rock. Rick loved Chicago sports teams like the Bears, and Cubs, and was a family man, and a supportive friend.
