Mike Patton’s Mondo Cane project performed the first of two shows last night in Italy, backed by a 40 piece orchestra. The group covered much of the Mondo Cane repertoire of Italian Pop love songs and a surprise cover of Mr. Bungle’s “Retrovertigo’ as an encore, from Mr. Bungle’s California album.
