Musician and horror film director/screenwriter Rob Zombie has received an ‘R’ rating from the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for his new film 31 (Universal) after recutting his film to avoid an NC-17 rating. The synopsis of the film officially is as folllows:
31 tells the story of five carnies kidnapped on Halloween morning 1976 and held hostage in a remote industrial hell. While trapped, they are forced to play a violent game called 31. The mission is to survive 12 hours against an endless gang of grease-painted maniacs. Cast: Sheri Moon Zombie, Malcolm McDowell, Richard Brake, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Meg Foster.
