Linkin Park has teamed up with global smash in the gaming world, League of Legends for their new single and video “Heavy is The Crown!” The track is the second single off of the upcoming Linkin Park comeback album From Zero (Warner Music). The tie-in with the game is to promote the Worlds 2024 campaign. A classic sounding uptempo Nu Metal banger, the song features rapping from Mike Shinoda and a great hook by new singer Emily Armstrong, including a 15-second long harsh scream. The band also feature as characters in the animated video. From Zero releases November 15th, 2024.It is the first album with new singer Armstrong, and the first without late frontman Chester Bennington. Linkin Park Announce Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara as Their New Singer, New Album Coming Soon
Linkin Park are officially back, and their new singer is Emily Armstrong of the band Dead Sara. They also announced their new full-band lineup. The band are playing an exclusive show this afternoon in Los Angeles, California for members of their Linkin Park Underground fan club, and it marks their first performance as Linkin Park since 2017. According to a press release, Emily Armstrong of the band Dead Sara is Linkin Park’s new vocalist. Returning to the lineup are Mike Shinoda, Joe Hahn, Brad Delson and Dave “Phoenix” Farrell. Doc Coyle Gives an Update on The New Bad Wolves Album
Bad Wolves, who split with their former frontman Tommy Vext in January, had previously announced Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz (ex-The Acacia Strain) as their new vocalist. Now Doc Coyle has given an update on Twitter that the new BW album, Dear Monsters, “is done being mixed and mastered “after 15 months.” He also recently posted a photo of the band together on Instagam. The album is tentatively due out later in 2021 via the bands’ label Better Noise Music.
Bad Wolves Announce Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz (ex-The Acacia Strain) as Their New Vocalist
Bad Wolves, who split with their former frontman Tommy Vext in January, have announced Daniel “DL” Laskiewicz (ex-The Acacia Strain) as their new vocalist. DL will appear on the new album Dear Monsters, due out later in 2021 via the bands’ label Better Noise Music. Bad Wolves are led by co-founding member and drummer John Boecklin – who has honored his commitment to Bad Wolves’ fans by continuing with the group when the previous singer quit in January 2021. Bad Wolves broke the news on their social media today with the following statement:
