Molly Hatchet Share First New Song in Thirteen Years


 

Southern Rock legends, Molly Hatchet, have just delivered a brand new song in their single “Firing Line”.  Recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios in the UK, the song was produced by the band’s guitarist, Bobby Ingram, engineered by Chris Bolster (Paul McCartney, Foo Fighters, Elton John) and mastered by Lucy Launder and Alex Wharton (Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones). KK’s Priest Will Play an Exclusive Show At Time To Rock Festival 2023 


 

In 1969, the first edition of one of the world”s biggest bands within the New Wave of British Heavy Metal – Judas Priest – was formed. One of the founders was guitarist KK Downing. KK was in the band until 2011 and over the years, he was one of the songwriters for most of the metal world”s biggest songs as “Breaking the Law”, “Living After Midnight” and “Painkiller”.

Phil McCormack, Longtime Molly Hatchet Singer, Dead at Age 58


Sad news as Molly Hatchet singer, Phil McCormack, has died. He was 58 and no cause of death has been revealed. McCormack was officially the singer of the band since 1996 but worked with them much earlier than that as a touring artist. The band released an official statement, which you can read below.
