Slipknot has announced a new song, perhaps a single, “Long May You Die!” The band teased the track on social media posts today, May 15th 2024. The phrase “Long May You Die!” has shown up on social posts recently by the band. No word yet if this is a standalone track or part of a larger release they have been writing and recording, but it will be their first with new drummer Eloy Casagrande! The band has a new samples player, replacing the recently retired Craig Jones, but his identity remains a mystery. In addition to their 25th anniversary debut album tour and Knotfest Iowa, the band is set to release their long lost album later this year, according to M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan! They recently shared a recap of their first two shows of 2024, Casagrande, formerly of Sepultura. First the band played a tiny bar in Pioneertown, California and then Sick New World Festival weekend.
