BABYMETAL Announces 10 Shows at Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan in 2021


Kawaii metal band BABYMETAL will play 10 shows at Tokyo’s legendary ”Budokan” venue in 2021 as part of the group’s 10th-anniversary celebration. The shows, which will mark the final chapter of the “Metal Resistance” era, will kick off with two dates in January (19 and 20) and four concerts in February (16, 17, 19 and 20) before continuing later in the year. BABYMETAL previously played Budokan twice in early 2014 (“Red Night” and “Black Night”), becoming the youngest female artists ever to perform at the legendary arena made famous in the 1970s by Cheap Trick’s album “Live at Budokan!” The band just released a compilation album of greatest hits, 10 Years of BABYMETAL.

BABYMETAL Shares New Music Video for “Da Da Dance”


Japanese Kawaii-Metal band BABYMETAL has released a new music video for the track ‘Da Da Dance’ from their recent album Metal Galaxy. Filmed across various shows during the group’s “Metal Galaxy” world tour, the clip includes footage from BABYMETAL’s first-ever U.S. arena show at the Forum in Los Angeles on October 11. ‘Da Da Dance’ features a guest appearance by guitarist Tak Matsumoto from B’Z. Cast your mind back thirty years to the late 80s where hard rock was in full swing. Def Leppard in the UK at the peak of their career after the release of their seminal release Hysteria and over in the states, Guns N Roses were selling out stadiums across the globe. However, in the western world, there’s one band from that era that go somewhat underlooked compared to their peers: X Japan.
