Jack Black and Kyle Gass a.k.a. Tenacious D previously announced their new album Post-Apocalypto, coming this November 2nd, 2018, Produced by John Spiker, and featuring long-time collaborator Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters on drums. In conjunction with the album, the band is releasing a six-part animated video series the band created, also called Post-Apocalypto. Tenacious D’s whose hilarious metal-inspired cult comedy Tenacious D And The Pick of Destiny will see a sequel released in 2018. During the band’s performance at Shaky Knees Music Festival on Sunday, Jack Black announced that the film would be released this October.
