Rob Zombie, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Mastodon, Gojira, Deftones, Steven Wilson, Chris Cornell (posthumously) and more are among the many bands nominated for the Rock and Metal portion of the 64th Grammy’s Awards, a.k.a. “The Grammy’s.” Typically the Rock and Metal awards are given out in the pre-televised portion of the show, but they are now live streamed. The Recording Academy will present the 2022 GRAMMY Awards on Mon, Jan. 31, on the CBS Television Network(opens in a new tab) and stream live and on demand on Paramount+ from 8–11:30 p.m. ET / 5–8:30 p.m. PT. Foo Fighters to Release Horror Comedy Film “Studio 666” Next Winter


Foo Fighters have announced the theatrical release of Studio 666 – due out on February 25th 2022 in the USA. An international release date to be announced soon. The cast includes Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega and Jeff Garlin. The band released their album Medicine At Midnight earlier in 2021 and the band, and was just inducted into the class of 2021 for the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. .

Dave Grohl just released his debut book, The Storyteller (Harper Collins) and the Foo Fighters frontman and Nirvana drummer is on a solo tour promoting it. During his tour stops he signs books, tells stories from his career, and he plays some music. Rock And Roll Hall of Famer and legend Dave Grohl, best known from his tenure fronting Foo Fighters, drumming for Nirvana, and Them Crooked Vultures has announced a limited tour to promote his new book, The Storyteller (Harper Collins), due out on October 5th, 2021. “The Storyteller” Live And In Person is an limited run of intimate dates where Dave will bring the book and his stories to the fans. FESTIVAL REVIEW: BottleRock Napa – Napa Valley California


What is the best festival experience you’ve ever had? This could mean a lot of things to a lot of people and I have had a lot of festivals under my belt as a reviewer and a fan to pull from. However, you have to just stand back in awe when a festival gets almost everything right and exceeds every potential expectation. This has happened to me one other time – at  Roadburn. Having just moved to Northern California this year BottleRock Napa was definitely on my radar. When I arrived at the festival for the first day little did I know what it had in store for me.
