System of a Down has Confirmed Early 2027 Tour Dates with Faith No More

After much teasing online and in venues around the world, System of a Down has confirmed tour dates in early 2027 with Faith No More! The dates are the much-teased Australia and New Zealand dates that were said to start the global year of touring for FNM. Faith No More announced their reunion as a touring entity only, just recently, while System of a Down has been riding high on reunion tours, headlining stadiums, and Sick New World Festival dates nonstop since before the 2020 global touring break. Each band is signed to Global Touring under a booking agency, 30e. Both bands were originally supposed to tour together worldwide from 2021 – 2024, alongside bands such as Helmet, Russian Circles, and Spiritbox. Faith No More Adds More Shows Next Summer

Hot on the heels of their major announcement of their return to activity, Faith No More has confirmed additional European Festival headline spots for next summer. The band will perform at Helsinki, Finland’s Tuska on June 28 and at Madrid, Spain’s Mad Cool Festival in early July. Hopefully the bad will see fit to bless us with new music as well since the band released their comeback album Sol Invictus (Ipecac Recordings) in 2015. Continue reading →


Video: Faith No More – Superhero, Tour Kicks Off Tonight

Faith No More have released a live performance video of their track ‘Superhero’, from their recent album Sol Invictus (Reclamation Recordings). The clip was filmed on May 8th at The Fillmore, in Detroit MI. You can watch the clip at this link or below:

Faith No More is starting a second leg of a US tour promoting Sol Invictus tonight. Speaking about the reception the album has received from fans and critics, FNM founder and bassist Billy Gould has this comment:

 

“What this tells me… is that there is a need out there; people want to hear things that exist outside the mold. It makes me feel grateful and it gives me hope.”
